Film shows music show put on by students at the Marsh Elementary School during the early 1990s, while the First Persian Gulf War was taking place. The show is called "America Singing" and includes music from all over the United States. It starts with a rap about different music genres, goes next to "When the Saints Go Marching In," a Hawaiian song with girls dressed in bikini tops and grass skirts, later a song from Texas with boys decked out in cowboy boots and hats, another song from North Dakota that has boys with guns shooting in the air, a version of "Rock Around the Clock," Michael Jackson's "Bad," and the last song is "This Land is Your Land." Other music from different states is also represented.
