The Davis family filmed the home movie in the third week of March in 1987. The Davis's, the Spano's and family friends gather for Michael's second birthday part at the Davis home. Presents are opened, cake is served and the family socializes. The footage shows 1980's clothing style, hair styles, and popular toys of the time. Other notable segments include a group of small children watching Kermit the frog on television, adults and children playing a game of pin the tail on the donkey, and children playing with a toy bowling set in the house.
