Keyword Description:
The home movie was taped in 1989. The movie was primarily filmed by Steve Kostoulakos, Melissa's grandfather also called Papou. There is a scene of Nicole at seven weeks old at Yiayia and Papou's house in Nashua, NH. The next part of the video is of Nicole's Christening at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, MA. Melissa's great uncle Father John Sarantos is the priest at the church performing the Christening. In the reception following the Christening everyone in the family is wearing a ribbon on their clothing that was worn to bring the American troops back from Desert Storm/Desert Shield. There is also footage of Easter at Yiayia and Papou's house in Nashua and then finally Nicole's first birthday. Other segments include a church interior and the progressive stages of the baby's growth from sitting up, crawling, climbing up on things and walking.
