Filmed mostly by Leroy F. Hussey, Jr., from 1947 to the late 1960s. Begins with a wedding in summer of 1947 in Maine. Locations include  home in Augusta, Maine, rented vacation house at a lake in northern Maine, a cottage on the waterfront in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the Green Mountains in Vermont, and Florida. Video also shows scenes of Christmas parties between 1949 and 1955 and parades when Hussey’s father successfully ran for governor of Maine in 1952. People shown on film include Hussey, Sr. and his wife, Hussey, Jr. and his wife,  their daughter Ann and son Rob, as well as Margaret Chase Smith, Maine’s first woman senator, who was present at the wedding. One Christmas party shows piece of sheet metal with swastika brought back by Hussey, Jr. from World War II. Written record has family tree with estimated ages at time of filming. Other footage shows a boy with a toy rifle, landscape through an airplane window, a waterskiing  show and kids playing baseball with uniforms on.
