The film was made by Robert Forcier and is taped from 1956 to the 1960’s. The Majority of the films were filmed in the Methuen/Lawrence area. Some clips were filmed in Maine, Montreal, Salem, NH, Laconia, NH, Jamaica, Miami, FL, and Upstate New York. The films include brief footage of a Thanksgiving meal in Methuen, MA. Another scene is of two men in their mid twenties drinking beer, an extended family outing at Arlington Pond in Salem, NH, which included boating and water skiing on the pond in the summer. There is footage of a new born baby boy being dressed for his Christening in 1956, and scenes of the baby being Christened at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Methuen. One observation is that many of the women are smokers. There is footage of the family in 1967  getting  ready  to  go  to  the  youngest  son’s  First Communion at St. Theresa’s Church. There is also footage of the youngest daughter’s First Communion at St. Theresa’s Church in 1969. There are scenes of the family at a beach in Gloucester, MA riding boogie boards and inflatable rafts. The family rides horses in North Andover, MA. There is footage of a family vacation in Upstate NY. There is another family vacation to Laconia, NH where the family plays miniature golf. There is a lot  of footage of  the parents on a vacation to Jamaica without the children. Their trip to Miami, Florida was also captured on film. The sons of the family go to Lawrence to their uncle’s house and ride around in a homemade soup box car. There is footage of Christmas in 1959, and their  daughter’s Christening in 1961. The sons and their friends dress up in Halloween costumes in one scene, they are dressed as robots and clowns. There is footage of a family vacation to Maine to the Cliff House, another family vacation to Montreal, Canada where they visit a church and are seen swimming in the hotel pool with the St. Lawrence Seaway in the back. Other segments include deep sea fishing, Santa Claus visiting children in their home, kids with toy rifles and pistols, and kids in costumes.
