Mary H. Blewett and Christine McKenna 1995 book, To Enrich and to Serve : The Centennial History of the University of Massachusetts, covers the history of the two legacy schools including the growth of their campuses that merged to become UMass Lowell.
UMass Lowell Campus, Architectural History Collection, Center for Lowell History Internet Archive Site Files include architectural drawings, books, cultural inventory reports, photographs, etc., ranging in date from the late 19th Century to the present.
Lowell Cultural Resources Inventory This UMass Lowell Libraries site consists of Lowell Neighborhood and Architectural Surveys. Reports include UMass Lowell buildings such as the Allen House, Coburn Hall. These reports are also available via Digital Commonwealth Massachusetts Collections Online.

MACRIS MA Cultural Resource Information System
The MACRIS database enables users to search the MA Historical Commission for reports on historic properties and areas in the Commonwealth. UMass Lowell buildings, public artwork, etc. can be found here.

Information about UMass Lowell buildings and properties can also be found in the City of Lowell's GIS portal. Users can Search this system which links maps and databases, forming a relationship between data, locations, and information.
