David Chanoff is a professor and author. His co-authored books, Hacker Cracker: A Journey from the Mean Streets of Brooklyn to the Frontiers of Cyberspace, co-authored with Ejovi Nuwere, Joycelyn Elders, M.D.: From Sharecropper's Daughter to Surgeon General of the United States of America, co-authored with Joycelyn Elders, Into the Heart: One Man's Pursuit of Love and Knowledge Among the Yanomama, and Warrior: the Autobiography of Ariel Sharon, are part of the Upton Bell Collection at UMass Lowell Libraries in O'Leary Library, 2nd Floor Special Collections and include personal inscriptions from Chanoff. His book, Destined to Live, co-authored with William Ungar includes an inscription from Ungar.
