If you are unable to visit the Center for Lowell History in person or you would like items you found here scanned, our scanning fees are as follows:
$35 per hour (or $8.75 per 15 minutes).
Minimum fee: $8.75.
Time spent scanning depends on the number and type of items.
High-res TIFF files at a minimum of 600dpi will be provided. Please let us know if you prefer a different format.
Discount available for UML students and non-profit projects ($20 per hour).
This fee does not grant permission for image to be published. Please see licensing information below.

For publication use of our items, fees are as follows:
$50.00 per image.
Grants one-time use of scans for publications.
Dependent on copyright status of the item(s).
Reuse of photographs requires written permission.
If items need to be scanned, scanning fees will also be applied (see above).
For commercial use of videos, fees are as follows:
$150 administrative fee plus $30/second for worldwide non-exclusive use in content.
If the video has not been digitized, we will work with an outside vendor to digitize the film. Additional fees applied.
