National Center for Health Statistics
Explains the 28 research focus areas identified by the U.S. government. It gives access to data on these health problems and summary of research to date.

National Institute of Health Office of Extramural Research
This site contains the educational course titled: Protecting human research participants. Upon completion of the course, a certificate will be awarded to you.

National Institutes of Health
This federal agency has information and links about health care research current projects, results from past research and opportunities and grants for future research. It serves as an excellent reference for health information for consumers and professionals. It has links to its 27 separate Institutes and Centers.

World Health Organization
A reference for health information from A to Z. It has specific country-related health information and important international news release.
