The Catalog is where you search to find materials that are accessible through the library. It is part of the World Catalog and when you search for a term you will see materials available through UMass Lowell first, then materials from other libraries.
From the library website, UMass Lowell Library, select the Catalog tab in the middle of the page.
- Search by title, author, subject, or keyword in the Basic search.
- Select Advance Search and search multiple fields in the same search.
Through both the Basic Search and the Advanced Search you can also limit your search to materials owned by UMass Lowell by scrolling down to the Held By Library link and selecting UMass Lowell Library.
Note: You can search titles of journals in the catalog but search for journal articles through the databases.
