Frank L. Orrell was born in East Chelmsford, August 19, 1891, the son of John and Hannah M. Orrell. He received his primary education in the Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell Textile School. For 52 years he was associated with the Massachusetts Mohair Plush Company and at the time of his retirement was the assistant superintendant. He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Adra (Fessenden) Orrell, a daughter , Mrs. Donald W. Cameron (Isabelle) of Chelmsford; a son, Dr. F. Lewis Orrell, Jr., Assistant Director of Research for the Western Gear Corp. of Lynwood, Calif., a brother, Ernest R. Orrell of Sunny vale, Calif.; and three grand-children, Don Adra Cameron, Stanley R. Orrell and Evan J. Orrell. Frank L. Orrell was interested in music and he was also a charter member of the Lowell Choral Society and the Lowell Masonic Choir, and a member of the New England Conductor's club of Boston and the American Guild of Organists. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist church and took an active part in all church activities, and was President-Emeritus of their Board of Trustees.
