Help with Nexis Uni

If you are logged in to your UML email you are logged in to the library. If prompted, enter your UML email credentials. If you still have trouble, clear the cache on your device. Email not working? Troubleshoot from here.

To access content in the subscription databases you may get an authentication phone call from Duo. This is routine.

Find Your Database

Start at the library home page, and click the Databases tab at left. Click the initial letter of the database you are looking for in the A-Z listing, or browse the titles on the page. Click the name of the database you are looking for.

What is Nexis Uni?
Nexis Uni is a database featuring more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790. 

Students can create individual user IDs and passwords to enable setting of Alerts, saving searches and bookmarking documents of interest.

Collaboration tools make it easier for students to work on team research projects efficiently

Patent content has been added to Nexis Uni  covering 107 countries. This content can be accessed in two ways:

►Click the drop-down menu at the top of Nexis Uni and select Patent Filings
(uni 3)
►Go to TotalPatent One content from the Advanced Search Page
