Faculty Guide to Library Services

UMass Lowell offers Faculty several Bio and Website platforms to share their contact information, activities, interests, and unique stories. 

All Faculty should have an official Faculty Profile located on the Faculty page of their College, School, or Department. 

All Profiles are in Tridion while Full-Time Faculty use a hybrid of Tridion and Digital Measures by Watermark

All new Faculty need to submit a Webticket to University Relations requesting the appropriate accounts. 

In addition to the official Profile, Faculty can create custom websites using sites provided by IT. The link to sites, a WordPress platform, should be included on the Official Faculty Profile.

 

Digital Measures by Watermark, a repository for your professional activities, research, scholarship, and service. 

DM is an effective way to store and share Faculty data at the individual and departmental level while also providing content for Faculty Profiles. These DM driven Profiles are editable by Faculty themselves without the need for a WebTicket. UMass Lowell Libraries has created a LibGuide of Best Practices to assist Faculty in maintaining their Profiles.

DM allows Faculty to input, organize, and store information on grants, research interests, service activities, etc., while also having the capability to download this data as a specific form, such as a Basic 16A, CV, or NSF Sketch.
