Franco American Collections at the Center for Lowell History

Overview

The Franco American Collections project aims to further preserve and promote knowledge of Franco-American and French-Canadian history of the Greater Lowell area. Assembled by the University Library’s Center for Lowell History in conjunction with the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the resources provided here represent a portion of the materials documented thus far, the result of an ongoing comprehensive physical and digital survey of Franco materials held by the Center for Lowell History. Accessible from this page are a variety of Franco-Lowell collection finding aids and bibliographies which provide descriptions and locations of the materials. Also included are links to digital resources available for immediate use by community members and researchers which include suggested citations.
