Using the Internet Archive

Get Free Books from the Internet Archive

The Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more.

How to get Books

Create an account. The best way to get the most out of the Internet Archive is to create an account which is very easy. Just follow the prompts at the log-in tab in the upper left of the landing page. Then you will be able to borrow and return items, (again, very easy), and get on waiting lists for items in demand.

Although the borrowing period is 14 days, items are returned more often so do not be discouraged when you see the message that an item is checked out. Go ahead and click on Join the Waitlist!

Important- Please Remember

When you are not actually reading a book in the Internet Archive  make sure to click the Return button (even if you plan to return to the book later), so other people can use the book. That way it will be available to many people, including you.
