To find articles, books or primary sources relevant to your topic, eventually you will only need to start at the library home page. For now, use the pages in this guide for support while you are getting oriented to library research.
If you are researching a topic, (rather that looking up a title), library search engines are dependent on keywords. Once you have decided on a topic take some time to make a short list of keywords for that topic.
Once you start to narrow your topic, finding the right keywords is important. Don't be afraid to let your topic change as you do more research. Note: when the narrator says "one search" what she really means is "Article Quick Search"
