Databases for Academic Sources, News Sources, and a Dictionary

This page contains links to databases where you can find academic, peer-reviewed research articles, as well as news articles. There is also one link to a dictionary, in case you decide to research the origins of a particular word.

Academic Databases with Peer-Reviewed Articles

This education database (Eric) is excellent, but also has a lot of sources that are not necessarily peer-reviewed, like government documents, reports, and speeches. Just something to be on the lookout for.

Using Article Quick Search

Article Quick Search is the name of the search engine for the library's journal content. It includes both titles the library owns and some it does not. If the library does not have access to an article, request it through Interlibrary Loan. Be sure first that the library does not own the title!
