Introduction to CAQDAS • The CAQDAS Network provides practical support, training and information in the use of a range of software programs designed to assist qualitative and mixed-methods analysis
• Platforms for debate concerning the methodological and epistemological issues arising from the use of such software packages
• Research into methodological applications of CAQDAS packages
Choosing an Appropriate CAQDAS Package Provides a summary of the available software. Focuses mainly on those traditionally categorized as CAQDAS packages and highlights some key distinguishing elements in each.
NVivo A place to organize, store and analyze your data. 

NVivo is a qualitative data analysis (QDA) computer software package produced by QSR International. It has been designed for qualitative researchers working with rich text-based and/or multimedia information, where deep levels of analysis on small or large volumes of data are required.

UMass Lowell has a site license for QSR’s package—Nvivo.  As a UML student, you may download from the University’s IT web site. More on NVivo.

DeDoose A cross-platform app for analyzing qualitative and mixed methods research with text, photos, audio, videos, spreadsheet data and more. It was created for conducting analysis WITH participants.  It is designed with a simple interface.
