How many Newbery and Younger Adult books can an Honors College Student drink in during the course of one year? These are short, simple journeys with a protagonist who is usually younger than 15. But, they are highly acclaimed for a reason. I am thrilled to know that two students, JL and MB, have taken up this sustained reading challenge. I am convinced that a year from now we will all feel a sense of accomplishment.
All the books can be found in the UMass Lowell Honors College library which is located in O'Leary 300.
We start slowly with Sarah, Plain and Tall. And proceed, in order, from there.
