ENGN.2060: Strength of Materials - Hansen

Background

Grading and Grade Distribution

The approach for grading in this course is what is called “specifications” grading in which core competencies are demonstrated. Rather than receiving partial credit on an assignment, students will be graded on a pass/fail basis on regularly scheduled quizzes. Please note that since this approach is new to this class, the matrix of quiz topics and their mapping onto the course grade is subject to revision; Prof. Hansen will make clear any revisions during class and via email announcements.
