Ideas Roadshow

Welcome to Ideas Roadshow
Ideas Roadshow is a multidisciplinary database of
e-resources developed from in-depth conversations with a wide variety of researchers blending personal motivations and professional insights so as to illuminate their research and ideas in an engaging yet substantive manner.
Ideas Roadshow offers three types of videos:
► 2-5 minute clips highlighting key concepts
15-30 compilations showing different perspectives on a single theme

► one-hour long conversations
The videos are supported by comprehensive, downloadable
► eBooks which contain the unabridged conversation with lots of additional resources, such as an introductory essay, chapter references/links for further study, and 2 x 25 teaching questions
► MP3s of the one-hour videos

What You Can Do

The Ideas Roadshow Academic Portal now contains a large number of pedagogical modules in addition to an extensive collection of e-resources. Below is a  short video for faculty members, students and librarians to make them aware of new features for ease of use.

All resources can be used in the classroom or for self-directed learning. The cross-disciplinary search function encourages students and faculty members to explore related ideas in other fields, while the informal nature of the conversations will inspire students with the personal stories of how our guests became what they are today. For more information on the full range of our resources and how to use them, please see our User's Guide.
