UML owns a number of Chemistry journals with extensive backfiles, some on the WEB, some in paper.

Titles you should be familiar with include:

1. Berichte der Deutschen Chemischen Gesellshaft, later called Chemische Berichte

UML owns from 1878-1997  QD .D4

Often abbreviated as Ber.

2. Justus Liebig's Annalen der Chemie and variations on this title.

UML owns from QD .L7 1905-2003

Often abbreviated as Ann.

The above two titles are not current, they have been superceded by the European Journal of Organic Chemistry from Wiley, 1998-

3. All journals from the American Chemical Society.  We have electronic access to ALL of these titles, every issue.

Includes Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), Journal of Organic Chemistry (JOC), Journal of Physical Chemistry (JPC) and 32 others.

4. Tetrahedron, Tetrahedron Letters and Tetrahedron Asymmetry.  UML has e-access via Science Direct from 1995-, and owns the entire backfile of these journals also (QD T4 and QD T44). 

5. Journal of the Chemical Society of London.  We do not have electronic access to any of the Royal Society of Chemistry journals.  We do have extensive backfiles, in storage, all the way back to 1858.  This journal has had many names and many parts.  All of our collection is in QD.C6, and it is all in CompactStorage.
