Welcome to Professor Boutwell's Course,
Beginning French 2 and Culture

This course is a continuation of WLFR.1010, French 1 and Culture, which is a prerequisite. We will focus on development of fundamental skills in oral expression, listening comprehension, reading and writing. In this course you will continue the study of a language that is the vehicle of communication of one of the world’s great cultures. You will continue to learn how to communicate in basic French and to read and write simple French texts. The course is taught in French and you will practice the four basic skills for language development: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing in addition to exploring the cultures of French- speaking peoples around the world.
