MLA Stylesheet: What Form for Citations?

What You Can Do

Your professor may ask you to create an annotated bibliography for your paper, and put it in MLA style. This has a particular meaning and form. Follow the guides for these and it is not difficult.

In addition to being a short summary of an article, book, web site or other publication, an annotation should be detailed enough so that a reader can decide whether to read the complete work. Imagine another reader seeing your annotation. Does it give her an idea of what you read?
