Filmed winter 1969 to summer of 1973, mostly at Graffum family home in Ipswich, Massachusetts as well as at the Salem Willows. Robert and wife Geraldine are shown with seven children, including oldest Dennis at 20 to 22 and his wife, down to youngest daughter Barbara at ages 3 and 5, as well as some other family members, neighbors, and family dog (see written record for list of names and ages of entire family). First scene is Christmas 1969, with two others later, including one with neighbor dressed as Santa Claus, and footage of people heading to church. Other scenes include running races at Crane's Beach, swim lessons at Salem Willows, several proms, birthday parties, new houses and cars. In part of film Dennis is just back from the Vietnam War. There are also scenes of men golfing and landscape shots of the beach, houses and other buildings.
