The movies were made by the Rand family, particularly by James Rand from 1958-1960’s. Many of the scenes are shot at the family home in Bradford, MA. There are scenes from the family’s church, Sacred Heart in Bradford and some footage of a wedding in Lowell, MA (the bride is Mr. Rand’s cousin). The movie starts off with quite a few birthday parties that occurred in the Rand family home and backyard. There are a lot of Christmas Eve scenes as well. Other footage includes a first communion of the oldest child and daughter, a school dance, kids putt-ing indoors, kids painting a garage door, people dressed up like characters from the Wizard of Oz, couples dressed up for a prom, a battle reenactment, snowmobiling and waterskiing.
