Making a Storyboard

What is a Storyboard?

A Storyboard resembles a comic strip. It contains sequential panels which show events taking place one after another.  The panels can contain any sort of image or drawing, but they must be simple, consistent and clear.

Keep in Mind

There are various templates for storyboards including in Powerpoint, a selection appears later in this Guide. However whether you choose to create a digital or a freehand storyboard, it's important to remember that your panels should be simple and clear. You don't need to create finished drawings unless they support the idea you are trying to get across. In some cases stick figures will do.
