Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of applications used for creating and editing audio, video, photographs, special effects and text across all devices. In it users can do anything from create surround sound and special movie effects to generating a secure PDF signature. In the Creative Cloud you can design websites, publish books, create book jackets, cartoons, movies, and music. You can create presentations, interactive PDF forms, and multiple user simultaneous review and editing of documents. The Creative Cloud has replaced Adobe's stand alone software which customers bought in suites or as single products.
These included familiar names like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Now these Adobe products are available as a subscription paid monthly at different levels depending on the choice of applications. UMass Lowell students and staff have access to this software in the Media Center and in Room 140 of O'Leary Library. Staff and faculty may install the Adobe Creative Cloud on certain computers, including, for a nominal fee, their own. Go to http://www.uml.edu/IT/Services/Software/Adobe.aspx for information.
