From the BLC

"Introduction to Project Management for Libraries," the presentation given to the BLC by Jennifer VInopal at Boston College on April 16th and 17th, is now available for download - See more at:

  • Time
  • Costs/resources
  • Scope

Well planned and managed projects define these three constraints up front. In planning and executing a project these three parameters are related to each other; they are tightly linked, interdependent.

Project Management for Flat Organizations
A flat organization believes the formal processes and controls used by many hierarchical organizations to be too involved, require too much overhead cost, and be too complex and/or time consuming.

This book offers clear, understandable discussions about project management processes, provides practical ideas and suggestions, answers common questions, and explains ways to address common pitfalls.

Please use this form to outline the aspects of the project you want to initiate and see to completion. After you complete the form, the information will be transferred to our project coordination software application. * Starred fields are required. Thanks
