ENGLISH COMPOSITION / WRITING

Word - a word is a letter or group of letters that has meaning when spoken or written.

Sentence - a sentence is a set of words that is complete in itself, typically containing a subject (noun part) and verb, conveying a statement, question, exclamation, or command.

 

Paragraph - paragraph is a section of a piece of writing. A paragraph always begins on a new line and contains at least one sentence.

 

Essay - An essay is a short piece of writing on a particular subject.
